This summer, Seth and I had the opportunity to go out of the country to Belize. Belize is in Central America, just Southeast of Mexico. We stayed in a little resort called Maruba Resort Jungle Spa. It was in the middle of the Jungle!
Here are a few pictures of our room. It was big! Not sure why, but we were upgraded to the Penthouse Suite.

Our first day in Belize, we decided to go cave tubing and Zip Lining.
We had to hike to get to the spot where we started to tube down the river.

I tried to brake... but it didn't work so good. |

Our second day in Belize, we went snorkeling with fish, sea turtles, sting rays, and sharks. We swam in the Caribbean Sea. Belize has the second largest coral reef. It was beautiful and the water was so clear.

| Sharks!! |
I wasn't too sure about getting
in the water with the sharks. |
Seth touched the sharks.
He said they felt a lot lot sand paper
and look like Marble decking. |
The third day in Belize we went to Lamanai, which are Mayan Ruins. To get there, you need to take a boat. Our guide Carlos gave us on a tour of Belize along the river side and pointed out the different wildlife that live there. The first thing he took us to see were the spider monkeys. He said that the monkeys hear the boat's engines and come swinging. They know that the guides will have bananas for them. This female Spider Monkey decided to swing on to the boat with us. It was nuts!

I petted a wild Spider Monkey.
I want a pet monkey. |
The monkey wrapped her tail around
our friend Nicole's leg. |
| The monkey was just sailing with us. |
We got close to the forest floor so the monkey
could jump back into the tree. |
| Lily Pads |
| Little birds jumping across the Lily Pads. |
| Mosquito eating bats. |
| Our guide rescued an injured sea turtle. |
| Mayan Ruins. |
| The High Temple. |
| We saw a Toucan on the way to the top of the High temple. |
We had to use a rope to climb to the top.
The steps were steep. |
It was scary climbing down because it had rained and the steps were steep and slippery. |
| You can see how high up we were. |
I love Belize.
We had a lot of fun!!
I definitely want to go back someday. |
Belize was UNBELIZABLE!!
